DLA Piper has announced that Corporate and Private Equity lawyer, Simon Vogel, is joining the firm as a partner in its Corporate practice, based in Munich. This is the third Corporate partner hire for the firm in Germany in the last month, having recently appointed partners Gerald Schumann in Munich and Roland Maass in Frankfurt.

Simon joins the firm from Dentons, where he has been a partner since 2017. He has more than ten years' experience advising private equity and other alternative asset fund managers, institutional investors and investment advisors on fund investments and secondary transactions. Simon also has significant experience in M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions. Simon will be joined by senior associate Michael Rebholz and associate and Eva Viktor.
