Attorney at Law, LL.M. (Law), Mr. Jukka-Pekka Joensuu has been invited to become a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland. He works at M&A, Insolvency, ICT and International trade & agreement practice groups in Eversheds Sutherland Helsinki office.

Most recently, Joensuu has held an Executive Advisor and Executive VP position at Cinia Oy. During this period, he has advised e.g. public authorities and institutional investors in build-out of Sea Lion data cable. Prior to this Joensuu worked as partner and COO for PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy advising among others investors, public authorities, municipalities and ministries.

Previously Joensuu has held several executive and legal officer positions in Nordic and international telecommunications companies, such as TDC, Song Networks and Saunalahti. He received a Global Counsel award from International Law Office (ILO) in 2009 for regulatory practice.

Joensuu has significant international positions of trust. He is a long-term member of Communications Law Committee of the International Bar Association and served as co-chair for the committee during 2016-2017. He is also member of Board of Trustees for global Turnaround organization TMA and president for European Association for Certified Turnaround Professionals.
