DLA Piper has announced that Michael Jay has joined the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology practice as a partner in Los Angeles.
Jay, who will be a member of the Patent Litigation subgroup of the IPT practice, has represented a broad range of clients in jury and bench trials and appellate proceedings, in cases involving technologies such as telecommunication and wireless communication protocols, smartphones, integrated circuits, computer software, ethernet controllers, medical devices, biological products and pharmaceuticals.

Jay, who joins from Boies Schiller Flexner, received his J.D. and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
