PARTNER MOVES - DLA Piper hires white collar crime partner in Germany

DLA Piper announces that White Collar Crime and Internal Investigations lawyer, Emanuel Ballo, will be returning to the firm as partner in March 2019 in its Frankfurt Litigation & Regulatory practice. Emanuel will be joining the firm from Gleiss Lutz, where he was an associated partner since 2015. Emanuel worked at DLA Piper between 2011 and 2015 prior to Gleiss Lutz.

Emanuel advises national and international companies on all aspects of white collar crime. He specializes in defending companies against criminal allegations and coordinating the defense of employees as well as advising companies regarding criminal offences that affect them. Emanuel has conducted numerous internal investigations to detect, prosecute and prevent irregularities within companies. A further focus of his work is advising companies on criminal compliance.
