International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced that Susan L. Shin has joined the Firm’s New York office as a partner. Ms. Shin is part of Weil’s national Complex Commercial Litigation practice.

Ms. Shin joins Weil from Arnold & Porter, where she was a partner in the New York office. She regularly represents public companies, financial institutions and other corporate clients in litigated disputes and class actions in federal and state courts and arbitrations. In the past several years, she served as trial counsel in five trials to verdict in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She also represents institutions and individual clients in government investigations and enforcement proceedings, and has handled complex financial litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, she was a clerk for The Honorable Raymond J. Dearie, then the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
