PARTNER MOVES - Ashurst boosts investigations capability with London partner hire

International law firm Ashurst announces the appointment of partner Ruby Hamid in its dispute resolution team in London.

Ruby joins from Freshfields' disputes, litigation and arbitration practice. Specialising in white-collar crime, financial regulation, global investigations and risk and compliance, Ruby advises corporate clients across a wide range of matters. She is experienced in multi-jurisdictional investigations and matters with multi-agency involvement, and has defended clients under investigation for global corruption, accounting irregularities, tax fraud, and money laundering.

A former prosecutor and experienced trial lawyer, Ruby practised at the Bar for 13 years before joining Freshfields in 2015.
