PARTNER MOVES - Greenberg Traurig Expands Government Law & Policy Practice in Las Vegas, Adds Alisa Nave-Worth and Matthew J. Walker

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has expanded its Government Law & Policy Practice in Las Vegas with the addition of Alisa Nave-Worth as a shareholder and Matthew J. Walker as a director. Both join the firm from the Las Vegas office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP.

Nave-Worth has more than a decade’s-worth of experience with politics and government affairs. She built a substantial and groundbreaking political network during her tenure as a consultant for a presidential campaign. She has deep legal, political, and public policy experience in Nevada, which she uses to implement and advocate legislative strategies before state and local agencies for a wide range of corporate clients. She maintains strong relationships with lawmakers and regulators and has a reputation for honesty and integrity with her clients.

Nave-Worth represents clients with legislative, regulatory, and administrative issues across all policy areas, with an emphasis in transportation, construction, entertainment, infrastructure,e and campaign finance compliance in Nevada. She has experience advocating for clients before the Nevada legislature and assisting clients with the rule-making process and advising on regulatory matters before state agencies, boards, and commissions. She received a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and a B.A. from Duke University.

Walker is a skilled advocate with over a decade of experience handling policy work for Nevada state legislative leadership, local government, and private industry. He works with clients to identify and execute legislative priorities at the state and local levels. Walker also researches and tracks a variety of legislative issues and crafts creative and tailored strategies to help strongly position his clients to achieve their business goals. He earned a B.A. from University of North Carolina Wilmington.
