PARTNER MOVES - Fieldfisher Paris creates and develops real estate practice with the arrival of David Bensimon

On October 28, David Bensimon joined Fieldfisher as a partner to develop the real estate practice of the Paris office.

David is involved primarily in commercial real estate and office and complex real estate transactions. In this capacity, he has extensive experience in the field of real estate investment, particularly in acquisitions and disposals of companies or real estate assets, as well as in the financing and creation of real estate joint ventures. David also advises clients on commercial leases, construction contracts and asset management.

His clients include real estate investment funds, institutional investors, developers and users, whom he assists with their real estate transactions.

To develop the real estate practice, David will be able to count on expertise already in place within the Paris office, particularly in terms of financing, environmental law and public law.

With the arrival of David, Fieldfisher's real estate practice now has 43 associates in offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Madrid, Milan, Hamburg, Dublin, Amsterdam and Paris.

About David Bensimon

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, David worked for two years as a senior associate at Paul Hastings in Paris. Prior to this, he worked as an associate in the real estate department of Jones Day and De Pardieu Brocas Maffei in Paris.

He holds a Master's degree in Business Law and a Master 2 in Real Estate Law from Paris I University, Panthéon-Sorbonne and was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2006.
