Leading commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has announced the appointment of Shantanu Sinha as a partner in its London corporate team.

Shantanu joins the team from Mishcon de Reya, where he spent the last nine years – most recently as a legal director, since 2016. Prior to joining Mishcon, he spent a number of years at Memery Crystal.

As a corporate lawyer with well over a decade of experience, Shantanu brings with him a solid track record of advising on high profile and complex transactions across a broad range of sectors including corporate real estate, hotels and leisure, technology, consumer products and media. He specialises in advising issuers and corporate finance houses on IPOs and secondary fundraisings on the London Stock Exchange. He also has deep expertise in advising public and private companies on UK and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers and joint ventures. Shantanu is recognised in The Legal 500 (United Kingdom) for Flotations. He has also been named as an 'Acritas Star Lawyer' by Acritas Stars™, a database of stand-out lawyers spontaneously nominated by clients during independent telephone interviews.

On a personal level, Shantanu has established a strong reputation for his thorough and client-friendly approach. He acts for a broad range of clients, from FTSE 250 to smaller public companies, serial entrepreneurs, UHNW investors and heads of government and is particularly skilled at breaking down complex legal and regulatory issues and delivering advice in a manner that best suits the recipient.
