PARTNER MOVES - Dentons welcomes Nicholas George to strengthen its Sovereign, Energy and Infrastructure practices in Paris

Global law firm Dentons has strengthened its Sovereign practice and its Energy and Infrastructure group with the arrival of Nicholas George as a partner in Paris.

Nicholas George has 25 years’ experience in international project development and finance, PPP and cross-border M&A transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has significant experience in emerging markets, with a particular focus on French and English-speaking Africa.

His clients include government entities, industrial groups, financial institutions and infrastructure investment funds. For example, he recently acted on the Inga 3 hydroelectric project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and on a $500 million 144A/Regulation S bond issue for Millicom International Cellular S.A.

Prior to joining Dentons, Nicholas George was a partner in Orrick's Energy and Infrastructure group and prior to that, he practiced for many years at Hogan Lovells in London and Paris. He is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales and a member of the Paris Bar.
