PARTNER MOVES - Keystone Law welcomes corporate expert Helen Gavin-Brown to the firm

18 Jun 2020

Keystone Law announces the appointment of corporate lawyer Helen Gavin-Brown as a partner. Helen joins Keystone from Bird & Bird where she practised for 15 years and was a partner for nine years.

Helen focuses her practice on international M&A in technology, medtech, media, entertainment and sport in addition to advising clients on equity funding and joint ventures within technology-driven sectors. She acts for clients at all stages of the corporate lifecycle and has recently advised on a high-profile private equity investment in the sport of rugby.

Helen joins Keystone’s large team of highly experienced corporate lawyers who advise owners of start-ups, high-growth companies and large corporations as well as private investors, venture capitalists and business angels across a number of sectors.

James Knight, CEO and Founder of Keystone Law, said:

“We are delighted that Helen has chosen to further her career at Keystone Law. Her breadth of experience in corporate M&A is an excellent fit for this firm and our clients operating within that sector. I understand that our excellent reputation in her sector was a big motivating factor in the decision to join Keystone, as was the ability to work remotely and flexibly.

“As an aside I would mention that we are now experiencing a strong upturn in applications from lawyers seeking to join Keystone as a result of the ongoing disruption in the legal market. In particular, there are a good number of partners who have enjoyed working remotely over lockdown and would like to continue doing so but with the benefit of Keystone’s infrastructure which is, of course, designed to facilitate just that.”
