PARTNER MOVES - Cesar Cermeño joins DLA Piper Martinez Beltran's Tax practice

DLA Piper announced that Cesar Cermeño has joined DLA Piper Martinez Beltran in Colombia as a partner in the Tax practice. He is based in the Bogota office.

Cermeño has more than 16 years of experience advising leading local and foreign companies in the areas of tax, tax litigation, customs and foreign trade. He has advised several global and local companies in disputes before national and territorial authorities regarding tax, customs and international exchange matters and has participated in several high-profile tax policy projects, advising business associations, multilateral organizations and government entities.

Cermeño received his J.D. from Universidad de los Andes, his M.S. in business law from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and his M.S. in economic law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
