PARTNER MOVES - Brown Rudnick Continues Expansion of its Global Restructuring and Special Situations Practices with Hire of Tony Horspool in London

International law firm, Brown Rudnick LLP adds Tony Horspool to its London Corporate Restructuring and Special Situations Team as a partner.

With over 20 years in the insolvency field, Tony is one of the most experienced restructuring partners in the City. He has acted on many of the highest profile and complex restructuring deals in the market, including most recently the restructurings of GHG, Steinhoff and Bartec, and the sale of Uro Property Holdings SOCIMI.

Tony’s practice focuses on high-end restructuring and special situations work across a wide range of sectors, including real estate, retail, oil & gas, housebuilders, manufacturers and insurance, as well as care homes, hospitals, and gaming. His expertise lies in syndicated loans, NY-law governed high-yield bonds, securitisations, direct lending, specialty lending, and distressed M&A.

Tony was previously a Partner at Cadwalader’s market-leading creditor practice and at Weil Gotshal through the height of the financial crisis, prior to founding the special situations team at Ropes & Gray when the London office opened in 2010.
