PARTNER MOVES - Jenny Williams rejoins Dentons’ Corporate practice in Dallas

19 Oct 2020

Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces that Jenny Williams rejoins the Firm’s Corporate practice as a partner, resident in the Dallas office.

Williams has an external general counsel practice that is dedicated to providing legal services to private equity portfolio companies and similar clients. She has significant experience managing complex litigation (including class actions), M&A, commercial transactions, contract review and negotiation, international matters, labor and employment, compliance, governmental relations and corporate governance.

Prior to rejoining Dentons, she served as the general counsel of ATW, a private-equity-owned company based in Richardson, Texas.

“We are pleased to welcome Jenny back to our Corporate practice in Dallas,” said Dentons US CEO Mike McNamara. “Her understanding of the unique needs of private equity portfolio companies and her experience within the Firm will be a valuable resource for our clients.”

Williams’ robust background in corporate legal departments includes more than 11 years at Unisource Worldwide, Inc., where she served in multiple capacities, ultimately as general counsel, corporate secretary and executive vice president of human resources.

Williams earned her JD from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where she was executive articles editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly and served as a judicial intern for Judge Jean C. Hamilton in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Williams earned her BS, with honors, from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
