Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced that Mandip Englund will join the Firm as a partner in the Firm's Global Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Ms. Englund will join the Firm on February 22, 2021 and will be based in the Firm's London office.
“It's our pleasure to welcome Mandip to the Firm,” said David J. Greenwald, chairman of Fried Frank. “Her experience will be integral to the continued growth of our Restructuring and Insolvency practice as we remain focused on advising our clients on their most complex and challenging matters.”

At Fried Frank, Ms. Englund will join with the Restructuring and Insolvency team in working collaboratively with and providing advice and guidance to clients across the Firm's other core practice areas -- capital markets, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, fund formation, real estate and disputes -- on mandates relating to debt and equity restructurings and recapitalizations; deployment of investor capital, distressed M&A activity (including in-court and out-of-court asset and business acquisitions; sales and other dispositions); formal insolvency proceedings; contingency planning for distressed companies and stakeholders; and other distressed debt and equity investments.
“Mandip is an extraordinary talent and consummate professional; her skillset and client relationships will integrate seamlessly with the multidisciplinary offerings we provide to clients of the Firm,” said Brad Eric Scheler, partner and chair of Fried Frank's Global Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. “As we continue to respond to client need and desire with the expansion and growth of our practice, we look forward to having Mandip as an integral member of our team. We are delighted that Mandip has decided to become the newest member of our cohort of stellar Restructuring and Insolvency practitioners.”
