Baker McKenzie acted on the issue of A$750 million Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due 2028 by DBS Group Holdings under DBS's USD$30 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme.

Baker McKenzie partner on the transaction, Duncan McGrath stated: "This was DBS's first issue of regulatory capital notes into the Australian market. We were delighted to act for the Joint Lead Managers on such a unique transaction."

Application will be made to the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited for the listing of the Notes on the Singapore Exchange.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has advised Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (‘BBVA’) on the series B round of financing of solarisBank AG, which is the first German fintech banking platform with a full banking license.

solarisBank has successfully secured €56.6m through its series B funding round. Participants from the round include current investors Arvato Financial Solutions and SBI Group, and renowned new global investors BBVA, Visa, Lakestar and ABN AMRO’s Digital Impact Fund (DIF).

Care Asset Management is an independent financial adviser providing retirement planning, estate and tax planning, care fee funding, legal services and investment and wealth management services to approximately 280 clients across the UK.

Eversheds Sutherland has advised Peel Hunt in its role as sole sponsor and bookrunner in connection with a £73 million firm placing, placing, open offer and offer for subscription by Regional REIT Limited, the listed UK regional office and industrial property focused REIT. Admission of the new ordinary shares became effective at 8am on 21 December 2017.

The team was led by corporate partner Sebastian Orton with assistance from Mark Roe (legal director), Harry Pangas (corporate partner – US securities) and Lily Tomkins (associate).

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank PJSC, Citigroup, CIMB, Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC and HSBC, acting as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners, in the world’s first sovereign green Sukuk issuance. The Sukuk was issued by the Republic of Indonesia.

Sidley Advises DSP Merrill Lynch and Citi on Idea Cellular’s US$545 million QIP

Sidley advised DSP Merrill Lynch Limited and Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited in connection with a successful US$545 million qualified institutions placement by Idea Cellular Limited (Idea). Idea issued and allotted approximately 42.42 crore equity shares to qualified institutional buyers at an issue price of Rs 82.50 per equity share, aggregating to about Rs 3,500 crore. Idea stated that the issue witnessed interest from a global investor base with about 56 percent and 44 percent allocation to Indian and foreign investors, respectively.

(BCP), a public limited liability company incorporated in the Netherlands and listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange with total assets amounting to around €1.6 billion.
