Hypothekenbank Frankfurt AG continued the portfolio transfers the bank had started in 2012. For this purpose portfolios were spun off with a following accretion onto
Commerzbank AG. The transferred portfolios are linked to over 25 jurisdictions. In the future Hypothekenbank Frankfurt AG will be acting as service provider.

Clifford Chance advised KfW IPEX-Bank on the non-recourse financing of a 30.1 MWp PV- and 45.8 MWp Wind-Projects Portfolio in France, consisting of the four photovoltaic plants of the Cap Découverte project, the two wind plants of the Raucourt II project and the three wind plants of the Bussy-Lettrée project with NEOEN S.A.S. as project sponsor.

Shearman & Sterling advised ABN AMRO, HSBC Bank, ING Bank and  Rabobank, as underwriters, in connection with the IPO and Euronext Amsterdam listing of Sif Holding.  The transaction closed on May 16, 2016.

Sif is a leading manufacturer of large steel tubulars which are used as foundation components for the offshore wind and offshore oil & gas markets. Sif manufactures customized tubular components for offshore foundations, predominantly in the greater North Sea region.

Charles Russell Speechlys’ corporate advisory team acted as the legal adviser to Mithras Investment Trust plc (the “Company”) on its fifth tender offer, which was announced to shareholders on 5 April 2016.

The fifth tender offer follows on from the Company’s announcement in December 2012 that it intended to enter into a series of tender offers to achieve its core realisation strategy of returning capital to shareholders.

King & Wood Mallesons has advised Céréa Partenaire on the structuring of its first priority debt fund, Céréa Dette.

Céréa Dette exceeded its initial target of €200 million, holding a final close of its €270 million hard-cap. The fund was predominantly raised from insurance companies and French mutual funds.

Céréa debt has the distinctive feature of not only offering acquisition financing (senior debt and unitranche), but also corporate financing (such as Euro PP).

Credit Suisse AG acted as joint-lead manager together with Deutsche Bank AG London Branch, acting through Deutsche Bank AG Zurich Branch and Goldman Sachs International. The bonds will be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.

Olswang advises SP Angel on Malaysian renewable energy company Green & Smart Holdings' AIM IPO

International law firm Olswang has advised SP Angel Corporate Finance LLP on its role as nominated adviser and broker to Green & Smart Holdings plc on its placing and admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market. Green & Smart Holdings plc is the holding company of the group which is based in Malaysia and engaged in the renewable energy sector generating power from biogas through the treatment of Palm Oil Mill effluent. The principal operating company in the group has an established track record delivering waste water solutions to the palm oil industry.
