Ashurst is advising on the establishment of and first acquisitions by Navigator Terminals ('Navigator'), a partnering between Macquarie Capital and Greenergy.  The transaction includes the acquisition of Royal Vopak's UK storage facilities at West Thurrock on the Thames, Seal Sands at Teesside and Windmill near Cardiff and operational storage assets of Greenergy North Tees at Teesside.

On December 14, 2015, China and the United Arab Emirates (the "UAE") officially announced the launch of the China-UAE Investment Cooperation Fund (the “Fund”), witnessed by the top leaders from both countries. The Fund is jointly established by China Development Bank Capital Corporation Ltd. (CDB Capital), the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, and Mubadala Development Company of Abu Dhabi. The Fund will invest into energy, infrastructure, high-end manufacturing, clean energy and other high-growth industries.

Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, as the Initial Purchasers, on a $1,500,000,000 debt offering by BAE Systems Holding Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BAE Systems plc.

The issuance featured three tranches: $500,000,000 2.850% Guaranteed Notes due 2020, $750,000,000 3.850% Guaranteed Notes due 2025, and $250,000,000 4.750% Guaranteed Notes due 2044.  The notes are fully and unconditionally guaranteed by BAE Systems plc.
