Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co advises Nomad and joint brokers and bookrunners to Gloo Networks on £30m AIM IPO

Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co (WLG) has advised Liberum Capital Limited and Numis Securities Limited, nominated adviser and joint brokers and bookrunners to Gloo Networks Plc (Gloo) on its £30 million AIM IPO.

Rebecca Gordon, a director in WLG's corporate team led on the transaction.

Schoenherr advises EVO Payments on its strategic alliance with Raiffeisenbank

Schoenherr advised EVO Payments International (EVO) on the launch of a strategic alliance with Raiffeisenbank a.s. in the Czech Republic in the segment of payment card acceptance. As a result of the partnership, all acquiring related services and responsibilities will transfer to a newly founded Czech subsidiary of EVO, “REVO”. The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close at the beginning of 2016.

Winning Further Lender Mandates in South Africa’s Renewable Energy Procurement Programme

Simmons & Simmons has been appointed as co-transaction counsel to a syndicate, arranged by Absa Bank Limited, financing two wind farms under the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Programme in South Africa.

The 140 megawatt (MW) Kangnas Wind Farm (Northern Cape) and the 110MW Perdekraal East Wind Farm (Western Cape) are being developed by a consortium led by global wind and solar company Mainstream Renewable Power.

Taylor Wessing has advised Cain Hoy Finance Limited, a private investment company, on a deal to forward finance the redevelopment of the iconic Shell Centre on London's South Bank. The deal marks Cain Hoy out as a significant player in the European real estate lending market and at over £550 million, is the largest property deal ever completed on London’s South Bank.

Davis Polk advised The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (RBSG), a public limited company incorporated in Scotland, in connection with its debut SEC-registered offering of $2 billion aggregate principal amount of 7.500% perpetual subordinated contingent convertible additional tier 1 capital notes (callable August 10, 2020 and every five years thereafter) and $1.15 billion aggregate principal amount of 8.000% perpetual subordinated contingent convertible additional tier 1 capital notes (callable August 10, 2025 and every five years thereafter), together, the “Notes”.

Hogan Lovells Advises on Equity Fundraising by Zegona Communications to Acquire Spanish Cable Operator Telecable for €640 Million

Hogan Lovells London-based corporate team has advised J.P. Morgan Cazenove, Cenkos Securities and Oakley Capital on their placing of £251 million of new equity in Zegona Communications plc (Zegona) to global institutional investors.

The funds have been used by Zegona, together with its existing cash balances and a new term loan of approximately €270 million, to acquire Telecable, an independent cable telecoms company in northern region of Asturias, Spain, from the Carlyle Group and Liberbank for consideration of €640 million.
