Slaughter and May advised Deutsche Bank on its settlements with the UK's FCA and the US DOJ, CFTC and New York DFS in relation to global regulatory investigations into the setting of interbank offered benchmark rates. These settlements, which were announced on 23 April 2015, follow extensive regulatory investigations over a number of years in multiple jurisdictions.

Slaughter and May's Global Investigations Group team worked in close partnership with Hengeler Mueller and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.

Slaughter and May, Hong Kong, advised China Orient Asset Management (International) Holding Limited (COAMI) on the mandatory general offer made by its subsidiary, Smart Success Capital Limited (Smart Success), for the entire issued share capital of Shanghai Zendai Property Limited (Zendai) other than the 50.03% shares already acquired by Smart Success from certain existing shareholders.

Noerr advises NORD/LB on financing of corporate takeovers

Noerr has advised NORD/LB in connection with the financing of two corporate transactions. The deals involved the acquisition by private equity company WHEB Partners’ Growth Fund 2 of all shares in Dolan GmbH and the acquisition by investor Dr Jan Verdenhalven of all the shares in the Kelheim-based company European Carbon Fiber GmbH. The sellers are the Austrian Lenzing Group and Kelheim Fibres GmbH.
