Northbridge hires and sells specialist industrial equipment.

Slaughter and May advised Standard Chartered PLC and Standard Chartered Bank on its tender offers for three series of outstanding capital securities issued by Standard Chartered PLC and Standard Chartered Bank.

The capital securities tendered for had an aggregate principal amount outstanding of approximately £1,785,000,000, of which approximately £1,067,000,000 will remain outstanding following the tender offers. The tender offers were made on 4 June 2018 and the results of the tender offers were announced on 12 June 2018.

DWF advises on technology provider's multi-million pound flotation

International legal business DWF has acted for the sole global coordinator and nominated adviser to the £65m IPO of leading technology provider Tekmar Group plc.

Corporate partner Lisa Stavropoulos led the DWF team on the deal alongside solicitor Ciara Healy, advising Berenberg as the sole global coordinator and Grant Thornton as nominated adviser to Tekmar.

Tekmar, a market-leading technology provider of protection systems for subsea cable, umbilical and flexible pipe protection systems, began trading on AIM on Wednesday with a fundraising of £61.3m.

Sanofi’s $2 Billion Offering

Cleary Gottlieb acted as counsel to the underwriters in Sanofi’s registered offering of an aggregate principal amount of $2 billion of debt securities, including $1 billion of 3.375 percent notes due 2023, and $1 billion of 3.625 percent notes due 2028.

This offering priced on June 12, 2018, and closed on June 19, 2018. Barclays and Morgan Stanley acted as global coordinators and joint book-running managers and Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, and MUFG acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.

Norton Rose Fulbright advises on S$800 million syndicated facility for South East Asia’s leading ride-hailing company Grab Inc.

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) and the lenders on an English law governed S$500 million senior secured term loan syndicated facility for Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing company Grab Inc.

The financing is scalable with a potential upsize to S$800 million. The deal was oversubscribed, with a total of 16 bank and non-bank financial institutions participating.

HSBC was structuring advisor, mandated lead arranger, and bookrunner on the deal.
