BLP advises Panattoni Europe on the development of a logistics property for Dachser

International law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) is advising the logistics property developer Panattoni Europe on the development of a logistics centre for Dachser in Überherrn, Germany. The complex will be built on a site of approx. 24,000 square metres and have a usable floor area of 11,130 square metres comprising 10,530 square metres of warehousing and 600 square metres of office space.

Investis prices its IPO at CHF 53 per share and lists on SIX Swiss Exchange

Global law firm Baker & McKenzie has advised Investis Holding SA, a leading residential property company and a national real estate services provider, on the listing of its shares on SIX Swiss Exchange following its initial public offering. Investis has raised CHF 148.4 million (USD$ 152.6 million) in gross proceeds from the offering, priced at CHF 53 per share. Investis, owns property, including serviced apartments, valued at CHF 857 million and also provides real estate services.

Ashurst advises Currie & Brown on its recommended cash offer for Sweett Group

Ashurst is advising Currie & Brown on its recommended cash offer for AIM-listed Sweett Group plc, a provider of professional services for the construction and management of building and infrastructure projects. The offer values the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Sweett Group at approximately £29 million. Sweett Group is also subject to an offer from WSP Global which values the company at approximately £24 million.

Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Growthpoint Properties Australia Limited (Growthpoint) on a $166 million acquisition of a fully-leased A-grade office building in South Melbourne, Victoria.

Located at 75 Dorcas Street, the 11 storey building is 100% leased to several high profile tenants, including ANZ, food conglomerate Mondelez and BMW. The newly renovated property forms part of Melbourne’s city fringe office market.

Hess Holding S.A. is the group holding company of the Donald M. Hess family, holding subsidiaries that are active in the fields of viniculture, real estate and art. Hess Group has decided to relocate Hess Holding S.A. from Luxembourg to Switzerland. The headquarters of Hess Holding S.A. were also moved from Luxembourg to Liebefeld (Bern) and the company has been renamed to Hess Holding AG. On June 28, 2016, Hess Holding AG was registered as a stock corporation with a share capital of CHF 100 m in the commercial register of the Canton of Bern.

WFW advise on employment law aspects of Süddeutsche Wohnen’s integration into Vonovia Group

International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Vonovia SE (“Vonovia”) on employment law aspects of Süddeutsche Wohnen Gruppe’s (“Südewo”) integration into the Vonovia Group, as part of the latter’s €1.9 billion acquisition of Südewo from Patrizia Immobilien.

WFW advised on the employment issues affecting more than 300 Südewo employees as part of the integration, notably negotiations with employee representatives and the question of redundancy.
