Arntzen de Besche assists AquaGen in the purchase of Profunda

The breeding company AquaGen announced March 31 the acquisition of Profunda, a facility in Møre og Romsdal that produces land-based broodstock salmon.

The investment in Profunda will ensure delivery of roe from AquaGen throughout the year.

AquaGen is a breeding company which develops, produces and delivers genetic material to the global sea-farming industry and has a leading position as a provider of fertilized eggs of Atlantic salmon and rainbow trout.

Homburger advises Avaloq Group in the transaction with Warburg Pincus to acquire a 35% shareholding in the company from existing shareholders

On March 22, 2017, Avaloq Group announced that it has entered into an agreement with Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm focussed on growth investing, under which Warburg Pincus agreed to acquire a stake of approximately 35% in the company from existing shareholders. The transaction values Avaloq in excess of CHF 1 bn and is subject to regulatory approval.

Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised Vivendi on the establishment of a € 3 billion EMTN (Euro Medium Term Notes) programme.

The programme was registered with the French Autorité des marchés financiers on 22 March 2017.

The DVMB team was led by Laurent Gautier with the assistance of Romain Querenet de Breville in capital markets. Loïc Védie advised on tax aspects.

The bank syndicate was advised by Gide.

LETT has advised the Visma Group on the acquisition of the Bluegarden Group, which is the leading Scandinavian supplier of payroll systems and HR management with branches in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Bluegarden, which is behind payroll-system products such as MultiLøn and DataLøn, has for the past 1½ years been owned by US P/E fund Marlin Equity Partners.
