International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Highland Capital Europe on its $30m investment in global software company Condeco.

The investment by Highland Capital Europe enables the workplace management technology company to accelerate its expansion across the US, Europe, and Asia.

The Osborne Clarke team that advised on the financing was led by Partner Rob Wood and Senior Associate Caroline Drummond, who were assisted by Associate Katie Carter.

Dechert LLP advised Orange, one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators, together with its subsidiary Orange Côte d’Ivoire, in the closing of the acquisition of 100% of the mobile Airtel in Burkina Faso. Since the signature of an agreement with Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) BV (“Airtel”) in January 2016, Orange has satisfied the conditions necessary to complete this transaction.

KF Media AB has entered into an agreement to sell 100 % of the shares of Norstedts Förlagsgrupp AB Storytel AB (publ), for a total consideration of SEK 152 million on a debt free basis. Norstedts Förlagsgrupp AB is proprietor of the publishing houses Norstedts, Rabén & Sjögren and Norstedts Kartor.

The issue was conducted as an accelerated book-building and over-subscribed, and the gross proceeds raised in the issue amounted to approximately EUR 8 million. An application was made for listing of the shares in Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd.

Orrick advised Sevenhugs, creator of connected home products aimed at simplifying the smart home experience, on its $14.6 million Series A financing round. Led by investment firm Xerys Gestion, the funds will be used to focus significantly on building the Sevenhugs team and investing in product development, including accelerating the development of the soon-to-launch intelligent Smart Remote.

Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira advised Telia on selling Yoigo to MásMóvil in a transaction valued at €612 million plus €100 million in variables. This finances the transaction and restructures the total debt of the group resulting from the recent acquisition of Pepephone.

International legal practice, Osborne Clarke has advised Juniqe on the closing of a financing round. Founded in 2013, Juniqe is a Berlin-based e-commerce site that specialises in art prints, apparel and accessories. Since its foundation, the start-up has already received an eight-figure investment and is now active in 13 European countries.

Juniqe has raised EUR 14 million from Highland Capital Partners Europe, Vorwerk Ventures, High-Tech Gründerfonds and Redalphine. The fresh capital will mainly be used to accelerate growth in Europe.

Vinge has advised Tele2 Sverige AB in connection with the acquisition of TDC Sverige AB for an enterprise value of SEK 2.9 billion. In connection with the acquisition, Tele2 intends to perform a rights issue of approximately SEK 3 billion.

The acquisition is conditional upon approval by the relevant competition authorities.

OTW was founded 1996 and is a content marketing company with focus on digital and printed content as well as content for television. In collaboration with its subsidiaries, OTW every year produces contents for web sites, social media, intranets, applications, newsletters, magazines and television. The company has offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
