DLA Piper advises industrial internet of things company MOVUS on funding

DLA Piper has advised one of Australia's most exciting high growth companies, industrial IoT machine monitoring company MOVUS, on its Series A Venture Capital Funding Round which completed on 19 March.

Blackbird Ventures, Telstra Ventures and Skip Capital all invested in the round, with the funds to be used by MOVUS to support its next phase of growth and development.

Baker McKenzie advises Immunovia in connection with its listing on Nasdaq Stockholm

Immunovia has been approved for listing on Nasdaq Stockholm. The approval is subject to customary conditions. Immunovia was previously listed on Nasdaq First North Premier.
 
First day of trading on Nasdaq Stockholm is scheduled for 3 April 2018, and the last day of trading on Nasdaq First North Premier is scheduled for 29 March 2018.
 
Baker McKenzie is acting as legal adviser to Immunovia in connection with the listing on Nasdaq Stockholm. Baker McKenzie's team consists mainly of Joakim Falkner, Per Blom, Henric Roth, Ian Gulam and Linnea Back.

McDermott Advises DBV on Its Capital Increase of 140.8 Million Euros

PARIS (March 29, 2018) – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery advised DBV Technologies (DBV) - a French clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, on its capital increase by public offering in the United States, Canada and certain other countries outside Europe and by private placement in Europe (including in France).

DBV, listed on Euronext Paris and on the Nasdaq, raised 140.8 million euros following the exercise of the over-allotment option.

CMS advises Telefónica Deutschland on issue of blockchain-based promissory notes

Frankfurt/Main – Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG, a subsidiary of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG, has completed a placement of promissory note loans and registered bonds. The transaction was supported by Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) and DZ BANK AG, Frankfurt am Main. The company chose blockchain technology for the emission. The innovative new instrument is being used in a promissory note loan tranche marketed by LBBW with a value of EUR 75 million and a term of one year.

Dentons advises on the launch of Virgin Radio in Oman

Dentons has advised SABCO Media on the launch of Virgin Radio Oman. The new radio station went live on air on 100.9FM in the Sultanate earlier this month and aims to be Oman's most dynamic, attention-grabbing and edgy radio station, targeted particularly at the youth market.

SABCO Media is a cross-platform media company with well known radio stations and magazines in Oman, media reference guides, and outdoor advertising media.

McDermott Advises Constantin Medien on Refinancing of its Corporate Bond

Düsseldorf / Frankfurt a.M., March 26, 2018 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has advised German media group Constantin Medien AG on the sale of 12.4 million shares in Highlight Communications AG to Highlight Event and Entertainment AG.  The transaction raised approximately €64.5 million sales proceeds.

The share sale follows a takeover bid in December 2017, in which Highlight Communications AG acquired 48.39% of Constantin Medien AG. The funds will be used to further solidify Constantin Medien AG’s finances.

Dentons advising FreeAgent on its proposed acquisition by The Royal Bank of Scotland

Dentons is advising longstanding client FreeAgent Holdings plc ("FreeAgent"), the AIM-listed provider of cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) accounting software solutions and mobile applications designed primarily for UK micro-businesses and their accountants, on its proposed acquisition by The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc ("RBS"). The terms of the recommended cash offer value FreeAgent at approximately £53 million.

WFW advises DC-Datacenter-Group on a strategic partnership with MVV

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) has advised DC-Datacenter-Group GmbH (“DC-Datacenter-Group“) on its new strategic partnership with MVV, an energy company headquartered in Mannheim, Germany.

As part of the partnership, MVV has acquired a 25.1% stake in DC-Datacenter-Group, an international database management company based in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate and founded in 2005. The company focusses on the design, establishment and operation of data centres for both private companies and public institutions.
