Taylor Wessing advises CalAmp on acquisition of TRACKER

Taylor Wessing has advised a US telematics and technology solutions pioneer, CalAmp (Nasdaq: CAMP), on its acquisition of TRACKER, a LoJack(r) licensee and market leader in stolen vehicle recovery and telematics services across the UK.

CalAmp is a longstanding client of Taylor Wessing, having worked with the firm since its first expansion into Europe in 2013.

VODInn, a company operating a platform providing unlimited access to movies for hotels and health establishments, has issued bonds subscribed by FPS SOLUTIONS FIDUCIE ENTREPRISES 2017, an investment fund managed by SOLUTIONS FIDUCIE, in view of financing its growth.

The issue was in particular secured by a portfolio of receivables transferred to a fiducie-sûreté managed by SOLUTIONS FIDUCIE for the benefit of the representative of the bondholders’ group.

In addition to strategic consulting and media purchasing, the agency also handles the creation and platform-specific production of moving image content for its clients.

RTL Group Acquires Video Tech Company Yospace

Cooley advised RTL Group subsidiary SpotX on its acquisition of Yospace Technologies, a leading ad insertion business. Partner David Bresnick led the Cooley team advising SpotX on the transaction.

Yospace has developed one of the most advanced technologies for server-side dynamic ad insertion (SSDAI), which allows the replacement of existing commercials from a broadcast stream with more targeted, personalised advertising. SSDAI is expected to become the de facto standard to seamlessly serve advertising spots in premium streaming environments.
