This is GB Group’s largest acquisition to date and will give the company a strong footing in the US, a strategic growth area for the company.

Technicolor's Sale of its Research & Innovation Activity to InterDigital

On February 11, 2019, Technicolor, a worldwide technology leader in the media and entertainment sector, announced that it has received a binding offer and entered into exclusive negotiations with InterDigital, a mobile technology research and development company, for the sale of its Research & Innovation activity. The transaction would be structured as an asset purchase with a concurrent R&I cooperation agreement. Cravath is representing Technicolor in connection with the transaction.

London—Dentons has advised City Loft LLC, the owner of Adjarabet, the market leader in online betting and gaming in the regulated market in Georgia, on Adjarabet’s £101 million acquisition by Paddy Power Betfair plc of an initial 51% controlling stake.

Adjarabet is licensed to offer a full suite of online betting and gaming products in Georgia including casino, sports, poker and peer-to-peer games. During 2017, the business also launched in the regulated Armenian online market.
