Roschier represented Amtek Group, a global manufacturer of automotive components, in the acquisition of the Floby component plant from Volvo Cars. The Floby plant is located in Western Sweden and employs some 440 people. It produces brake discs, wheel hubs and connecting rods for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Taylor Wessing advises Casual Dining Group on acquisition of Las Iguanas

Taylor Wessing has advised its client, Casual Dining Group, on its agreement to acquire the 41 strong Las Iguanas restaurant business from mid-market private equity firm Bowmark Capital.

The combination of Las Iguanas with Casual Dining Group's existing operations creates a business comprising 250 restaurants, fortifying the group's position as the UK's leading independent casual dining business. Importantly, the deal further accelerates Casual Dining Group's growth trajectory: the enlarged group plans to open 30 new sites over the next 10 months.

Schoenherr advises UNION Investment on prominent real estate transactions in Vienna

Schoenherr has advised UNION Investment Real Estate GmbH, one of Europe's leading property investment management companies, on several prominent real estate acquisitions that the Hamburg-based group has made in Vienna. Most recently, UNION Investment purchased the space2move office complex (a LEED Gold-certified project with approximately 50,000 m² of lettable space split across three objects that is located in Vienna's nineteenth district) from Raiffeisen Property Holding International (RPHI) for an overall deal volume of EUR 185 million.

LETT assists Danish private hospital in acquisition

Danish private hospital group, CFR Hospitaler, has acquired Copenhagen Private Hospital with effect from 1 July 2015.

Both hospitals are engaged in almost the same specialty areas, and there is, therefore, a major professional and economic rationale for joining forces.

LETT provided legal assistance to CFR Hospitaler during the process. Following the acquisition, the group, CFR Hospitaler, has become the largest Danish-owned private hospital.

Wiersholm assisted SL Capital Partners

Wiersholm has assisted SL Capital Partners in connection with their purchase of 13 small power plants from Nordkraft AS.

Nordkraft will operate the plants on behalf of SL Capital. There is also an intention to construct several new small power plants and sell them on to SL Capital. These will also be operated by Nordkraft. So far this has been an unusual step in the Norwegian power industry, but we believe this might be a more common procedure in the future.

Clifford Chance advises Real I.S. on the acquisition of "Leitwerk" in Munich

Clifford Chance advised Real I.S. AG on the acquisition of Munich office building "Leitwerk" for two of its institutional funds from InfraRed Capital Partners.

The building called "Leitwerk" is located on Haidenauplatz near railway station Ostbahnhof and covers about 40,000 sqm of lettable space. The property is fully let – 85 per cent are let to public sector tenants, including the Bavarian Ministry of Healthcare and the Federal Agency for Real Property Affairs together with the German Patent and Trademark Office.

VINGE ADVISES ADAPTA FASTIGHETER IN CONNECTION WITH ACQUISITION OF THE KUNGSÄLV PROJECT FROM COOP FASTIGHETER

Vinge has advised Adapta Fastigheter in connection with its acquisition of a development project at Kongahälla in Kungälv north of Gothenburg from Coop Fastigheter. The project comprises a trading area of approximately 20 000 sq.m., and will include, among other things, a large Coop store.

The trading project is part of a larger development project by the E6 motorway. With 900 residential properties, a varied selection of retail units and a green area, Kongahälla is the largest new contemporary development project in Kungälv.

Ashurst advises France-based Webhelp Group on the acquisition of nine call centres from Walter Services Group

Ashurst advised Webhelp Group, one of Europe's leading specialists in customer relationship solutions and services, headquartered in France, on the acquisition of nine call centres from Germany-based Walter Services Group. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction is still subject to regulatory approval.
