DLA Piper advises Syngenta on the acquisition of Nidera Seeds

DLA Piper has advised Swiss company Syngenta on the acquisition of Nidera Seeds.

Syngenta has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Nidera Seeds, which is currently owned by COFCO International Ltd. Completion of the transaction is subject to clearance by the relevant merger-control authorities, and the financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Impact Investment Group on the development of the A$32 million Swan Hill Solar Farm located in northern Victoria. Once completed, the site will have a total generating capacity of approximately 19 megawatts.

Herbert Smith Freehills advised on all aspects of the transaction including the project financing, procurement, connection, off take, property, planning and environment.

White & Case Advises Amundi Immobilier on Acquisition of 'Coeur Défense'

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised a consortium of investors led by Amundi Immobilier and including Predica, Spirica and Primonial REIM, on the acquisition of Europe's largest office complex, 'Coeur Défense', owned by the American fund Lone Star.

White & Case also advised Amundi Immobilier on the refinancing of its existing indebtedness.

Elanor Investors Group (ENN) has added to its Australian portfolio with the acquisition of three hotels via its Elanor Metro and Prime Regional Hotel Fund (EMPR).

The AU$80.6 million multi-asset managed fund, EMPR, was seeded by Ibis Styles Eaglehawk Canberra, an Elanor-owned property. The announced completions see EMPR’s portfolio expand to include the Ibis Styles Canberra and the Byron Bay Hotel and Apartments.
