WFW advises McKeil Work Boats on acquisition of “Ardita” cargo ship

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) has advised McKeil Work Boats Gp Inc. (“McKeil Work Boats”), part of Canada’s Mc Keil Marine Group, on its acquisition of the cargo ship “Ardita”from Italian shipping company Armamento.

The WFW Italy Maritime team advising McKeil Work Boats was led by Partner Furio Samela, assisted by Senior Associate Michele Autuori and Associates Emanuele Caretti and Antonella Barbarito.

Hogan Lovells advises Keppel on the acquisition of a data centre in Frankfurt

Led by Frankfurt-based Partner Tobias Faber and Counsel Alexander Stefan Rieger, Hogan Lovells advised a joint venture between Keppel Telecommunications & Transport and Alpha Investment Partners (both Singapore) on the acquisition of a data centre in Frankfurt. The volume of the transaction amounts to EUR 76 million.

The subsidiaries of Keppel Corporation acquired the data centre and will operate it on their own in the coming years; the seller Citigroup will remain one of the data centre's tenants.

DLA Piper advises Greenstone Finance and Aurium Capital on the acquisition of the business and assets of the Green Deal Finance Company

DLA Piper  has advised Greenstone Finance and long-standing client Aurium Capital on the acquisition of the business and assets of the Green Deal Finance Company, including its existing loan book of Green Deal loans.

Green Deal loans provide homeowners with accessible financing to improve their homes by installing energy efficiency products and are repaid as part of the homeowners' energy bill. The new owners hope to commence financing new Green Deal loans in Q1, 2017.

Clifford Chance advises Quantum on the acquisition of 'Adlerwerke' in Frankfurt

Clifford Chance has advised Quantum on the acquisition of the iconic office complex 'Adlerwerke' in Frankfurt, Germany.

Quantum acquired the property on behalf of a consortium of its German institutional investors. The seller is PGIM Real Estate, the real estate manager of investment company Prudential Financial.

DC Values and RFR Holding acquire three properties at Leipziger Platz in Berlin with Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek

The business law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised DC Values Group on the acquisition of three commercial buildings at Leipziger Platz 14, 15, and 16 in Berlin’s city center. The team led by Dr. Michael Dröge, Fabian G. Gaffron, and Dr. Sönke Görgens carried out the legal due diligence and negotiated the purchase contract. The seller of the properties is HGHI Holding GmbH. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
 

Kajo Neukirchen Group acquires two office and commercial properties with Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek

Kajo Neukirchen Group, a family office specializing in investing in companies, real estate, and forestry, acquired two office and commercial properties in Frankfurt am Main from a Franconian family office. Kajo Neukirchen Group was advised by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. The properties are in prominent Frankfurt locations in Westend and in Sachsenhausen-Süd and comprise a total rentable area of some 4,200 square meters. With the acquisition, Kajo Neukirchen Group continues its expansion in the real estate sector.

The closing of the transaction is subject to the completion of certain conditions precedents.
