Ashurst advises Morrisons on the sale and leaseback of a key distribution facility in Dordon

Ashurst has advised longstanding client Morrisons in relation to the sale and leaseback of a customer fulfilment centre at Birch Coppice Business Park, Dordon, Birmingham operated by Ocado. The facility serves both Ocado's and Morrisons' online retail businesses.

The total consideration for the disposal of Morrisons' long leasehold interest was £92.33 million. The transaction also included the grant of a pre-emption right, buy-back option and a forfeiture protection deed all in favour of Morrisons.

Ashurst advises Warburg-HIH Invest on sale of Fasanenpalais in Berlin

Ashurst advised Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate GmbH (Warburg-HIH Invest) on the sale of office and retail property "Fasanenpalais" on Kurfürstendamm 26a in Berlin to Aachener Grundvermögen.

The 7,400 square metre lettable space property, whose list of tenants include Tesla, Timberland, Starbucks and Camper, was modernised in 2007 and 2012.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

White & Case Advises Unicredit Leasing on Sale of Eni's Headquarters in San Donato Milanese

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Unicredit Leasing on the sale of V Palazzo Uffici, one of the best known buildings in San Donato Milanese (Milan) and the headquarters of energy company Eni, to Pegasus, a real estate alternative capital fund managed by Kryalos SGR.

The White & Case team in Milan which advised on the transaction was led by partner Gianluca Fanti and local partner Giuseppe Barra Caracciolo.

Hogan Lovells acts for M&G Real Estate on the sale of Central London’s Bankside Buildings

Hogan Lovells has acted for M&G Real Estate, one of the UK’s largest real estate property investors, in relation to the sale of Omnicom’s South Bank HQ at Bankside 2 and 3, SE1, to Deutsche Asset Management for around £310m.

The transaction was led by partner and UK head of Real Estate, Daniel Norris, and senior associate Graham Cutts.
