Shearman & Sterling Advises on Royal Bank of Scotland's $3 Billion Senior Notes Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented the underwriters, led by RBS Securities Inc., in connection with The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc's offering of $1.5 billion 3.498% fixed-rate/floating-rate senior notes due 2023 and $1.5 billion floating-rate senior notes due 2023. The joint bookrunners included Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and UBS Investment Bank.

The Royal Bank of Scotland, headquartered in Edinburgh, has a diversified customer base and provides a wide range of products and services to personal, commercial and large corporate and institutional customers.

Gernandt & Danielsson advises in ALM Equity’s second bond issue amounting to SEK 600,000,000.

The bonds are issued within the framework amount of SEK 1,000,000,000. The company has
undertaken to list the bonds on Nasdaq Stockholm. The bond proceeds may be used for repayment of the company’s existing debt, repurchase of the company’s outstanding bonds with ISIN SE0008014690 and for general corporate purposes.

Allen & Overy advises on the benchmark bond offering by major Indian state owned oil and gas company

Allen & Overy advised the joint lead managers on the USD500 million 4.00% bond offering by Oil India International Pte. Ltd. (OIIPL), as issuer, and Oil India Limited, as guarantor. OIIPL is a wholly owned Singapore based subsidiary of Oil India Limited which is the second largest national oil and gas company in India as measured by total proved plus probable oil and natural gas reserves and production. The joint lead managers consisted of Barclays Bank PLC, Singapore Branch, Citigroup Global Markets Singapore Pte.

Gernandt & Danielsson advises in Heimstadens's issue of bonds with a value of SEK 850 million

Heimstaden AB (publ) is one of Sweden´s leading real estate companies operating in Sweden as well as in Denmark and with a property value of approx. SEK 26.3 billion.

The issue is directed to Swedish and international institutional investors and the bonds are issued within a framework amount of SEK 1,250 million. The bond loan is Heimstaden's second bond and will be listed on the Corporate Bond List at Nasdaq Stockholm.

Herbert Smith Freehills advises on Indonesia Eximbank's updated US$1.5 billion EMTM programme and US$500 million drawdown

Herbert Smith Freehills has advised the arrangers and dealers on Indonesia Eximbank's update of its US$1.5 billion Euro Medium Term Note programme and the issue of US$500 million 3.875% notes due 2024.

Listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, the notes were 10 times oversubscribed and priced much lower than the initial 4.2% coupon pricing range.

DUBAI, 11 May 2017 - Hogan Lovells has advised Aktif Bank on the first sukuk ever to be listed on the Global Exchange Market of the Irish Stock Exchange ("ISE").

The US$118million sukuk was issued under a mudarabah structure with GAP Insaat Yatirim ve Dis Ticaret A.S., a Turkish construction company, acting as mudarib.
