White & Case Advises Banks on €1.57 Billion Superstrada Pedemontana Veneta "Greenfield" Project Bond

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised J.P. Morgan as Global Co-ordinator, and Banca IMI, Santander, Banca Akros and Kommunalkredit, on a landmark project bond financing for the construction of the Superstrada Pedemontana Veneta toll road in the Veneto region of Italy.

The transaction comprises the issuance of €1.221 billion variable rate senior secured amortizing notes and €350 million step-up subordinated secured notes in an innovative "bond only" capital structure where the junior notes provide a capital cushion during the construction phase.

White & Case Advises Intesa Sanpaolo on US$2.5 Billion Yankee Bond Issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. on a US$2.5 billion issuance of Yankee bonds under its US$50 billion Medium Term Note Programme.

The issuance consists of US$1 billion 3.375% senior notes due 2023, US$1 billion 3.875% senior notes due 2028 and US$500 million 4.375% senior notes due 2048, issued pursuant to Rule 144A under the US Securities Act.

Clifford Chance advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on its € 38 million loan to Figeac Aéro, a fast-growing French aerospace supplier, for the expansion of its production facilities in Morocco and in Tunisia.

Figeac Aéro is a company listed on Euronext Paris and is positioned as a major player in the production of aerostructures and high precision metal parts for major aircraft manufacturers and their suppliers.

Dentons advises Vitol on US$534 million debt financing for Shoreline Natural Resources

Dentons has advised long-standing client Vitol, the global energy and commodity trading group, on its participation in the recent US$534 million debt financing for Shoreline Natural Resources Limited (SNRL), the indigenous Nigerian oil producer which, together with the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, owns OML 30, a large onshore block in the western Niger Delta.

As well as refinancing existing indebtedness, the new credit facility will enable SNRL to increase production from OML 30 at a time when the oil market's recovery appears to be stabilising.

Ashurst advises on €412.7m note issuance by Harvest CLO XVIII DAC

Ashurst advised The Bank of New York Mellon as trustee and in its agency capacities in connection with various classes of notes issued by Harvest XVIII CLO DAC, totalling €412.7 million and due in 2030.
