WFW advises Terna Energy on €24m loan financing provided by EIB and Eurobank

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised three subsidiaries of Terna Energy (“Terna”) on a €24m bond loan financing provided by the European Investment Bank (“EIB”) and Eurobank Ergasias acting as co-lenders. This facility will be used for the development, construction, and operation of three wind farms consisting of 18 wind turbines in total, with a combined installed capacity of 48.6 MW. The wind farms will be located in Viotia, central Greece, and will be connected to two existing substations through underground cabling.

Allen & Overy has advised Citigroup, DBS Ltd., MUFG, SBICAP and Standard Chartered Bank as joint lead managers in connection with the debut Regulation S  offering of senior unsecured notes due 2027 by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). The dollar-denominated 10-year 4.00% bond raised USD500  million for the Indian issuer.

Allen & Overy advised  ANZ, Barclays, BNP Paribas, HSBC, Mizuho Securities,  and MUFG as joint lead managers (JLMs) in connection with the Regulation S green bond offering of senior unsecured notes due 2027 by Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC). The dollar-denominated 10-year 3.875% bond issuance raised USD450  million for the Indian issuer.

This green bond issue was certified by the Climate Bonds Initiative and verified by an independent assurance statement.

The proceeds of the recapitalisation will be used to fund a cash distribution to stockholders, refinance the company's capital structure, purchase Robert Bosch GmbH's financial interests in the company, and provide resources for investments in technology and growth.

Schrell, the business law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised a bank consortium led by Kreissparkasse Biberach as arranger on a consortium loan for Peach Property Group of up to EUR 60 million. The group is an investor specializing in portfolio management in Germany, focusing on residential properties. The growth financing serves to supplement the usual mortgage loans in the acquisition of real estate portfolios.
