Davis Polk is advising the sales agent on an SEC-registered dribble-out offering by Canadian Solar Inc. of its common shares for an aggregate amount of up to $100 million.

Founded in 2001 in Canada, Canadian Solar is one of the world’s largest solar power companies and a vertically integrated provider of solar modules and system solutions with operations in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and Asia.

Norton Rose Fulbright advises on HK$216.5 million placing of new shares of CNQC International

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised on the placing of 90,202,500 new shares (the “Placing Shares”) in CNQC International Holdings Limited (“CNQC International”) at HK$2.40 per share, which amount to a gross proceed of approximately HK$216.5 million (the “Placing”).

CNQC International is a Hong Kong listed company principally engaged in the foundation and machinery leasing businesses in Hong Kong and Macau as well as the property development and construction businesses in Singapore.

WISeKey International Holding AG announces CHF 60 million equity financing facility from a consortium of international institutional investors led by GEM

On January 19, 2016 WISeKey International Holding AG signed a CHF 60 million committed share subscription facility with a consortium of international institutional investors led by GEM Global Yield Fund LLC SCS, a fund of Global Emerging Markets.

The share subscription facility will be effective as of the date of the listing of WISeKey on the SIX Swiss Exchange, which WIseKey expects in Q1 2016.

Camurus listed on Nasdaq Stockholm

The shares in Camurus AB (publ) have on 3 December 2015 been admitted to trading on Nasdaq Stockholm. The listing included an offer by the company and its principal shareholder, Sandberg Development AB, to the general public in Sweden and qualified institutional investors in Sweden and abroad to acquire existing and newly issued shares in the company corresponding to 30 per cent of the total number of shares. In addition, Sandberg Development has granted an over-allotment option of not more than 15 percent of the offering.

Orascom Development Holding AG increases its equity capital by CHF 133.8 million in a rights offering

On December 14, 2015, Orascom Development Holding AG, a SIX listed leading developer of fully integrated destinations, announced the results of its rights offering, which before deducting transaction fees increased its equity capital by CHF 133.8 million. The total amount of new equity capital stemmed from gross cash proceeds of CHF 49.6 million and from the conversion of a loan of CHF 84.2 from Orascom's major shareholder, Samih O. Sawiris, into equity.
