Slaughter and May, London and Hong Kong, is advising Standard Chartered plc on its fully underwritten 2 for 7 rights issue to raise approximately £3.3bn (net of expenses).

The shares will be admitted to listing on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the regulated market of the London Stock Exchange and listing on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Advising Hsin Chong Construction Group on US$100 million Issuance of US dollars Convertible Bonds

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised Hsin Chong Construction Group (the “Company”) on a public issuance (in a professional investors market) of US dollars convertible bonds in the principal amount of US$100 million in November 2015.

Hsin Chong Construction Group is one of the largest construction and property development companies based in Hong Kong.

Simmons & Simmons acted for the Company in this transaction which also included an upsize option for the issuance of an additional US$30 million in convertible bonds.

IPO ABN AMRO on Euronext Amsterdam

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek advised ABN AMRO on its listing on Euronext Amsterdam. It is the largest equity offering of a financial institution in Europe since May 2007.

Trading started on Friday, 20 November 2015. The price per offered depository receipt was EUR 17.75, corresponding to an ABN AMRO equity value of approximately EUR 16.7 billion. ABN AMRO’s return to the stock market comes seven years after the bank was nationalised at the height of the financial crisis.

Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira advises Agile Content on its listing on Alternative Stock Market (MAB)

Agile Content, multinational technology company specializing in managing audiovisual content and big data, has been listed on the MAB with a capital of €17 million, after receiving authorization from the MAB's Coordination and Incorporations Committee.

The company, with headquarters in Barcelona, agreed to expand its capital worth €5.3 million, enabling it to incorporate 80 new investors. Agile Content's debut on the market was finalized when almost nine million shares at €1.87 were issued on the MAB.

Kirkland & Ellis Represents Wenzhou Kangning Hospital on HK IPO

Kirkland & Ellis is representing Wenzhou Kangning Hospital Co., Ltd., the largest private psychiatric healthcare group in China as measured by revenue in 2014, on its initial public offering (IPO) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited and CITIC CLSA Capital Markets Limited are joint global coordinators on the IPO.

WLG helps Gravis Capital Partners LLP raise £106 million for a new listed fund
