Davis Polk advised Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Cowen and Company, LLC as joint book-running managers in connection with the $70.5 million initial public offering of common stock by BIND Therapeutics, Inc. BIND’s common stock is listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol "BIND."

Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, BIND Therapeutics is a clinical-stage nanomedicine platform company developing targeted and programmable therapeutics called Accurin.

Davis Polk Advises Morgan Stanley on $862.5 Million Preferred Stock Offering

Davis Polk advised Morgan Stanley in connection with its $862.5 million SEC-registered offering of 34,500,000 depositary shares, each representing 1/1,000th interest in a share of its fixed-to-floating-rate non-cumulative preferred stock, Series E. The depositary shares sold in the offering include shares sold pursuant to the underwriters’ fully exercised option to purchase additional shares. The offering was made through an underwriting syndicate led by Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P.

The investment funds team at Lawrence Graham LLP has advised new client Chenavari Capital Solutions Limited on its admission to trading on the Specialist Fund Market and listing on the CISX raising £130.3 million by way of a placing and limited U.S. subscription offer.

Chenavari Capital Solutions is a new closed-ended investment fund which will undertake "Capital Solutions" transactions with European banks seeking to earn an attractive rate of return with exposure to well defined credit risk whilst contributing to reduce the risk weighted assets of these banks.

The shares were listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. The transaction closed on October 1, 2013.

The Firm represented the underwriters of the initial public offering in Hong Kong and Rule 144A/Regulation S offering by China Huishan Dairy Holdings Company Limited  (Huishan Dairy). Huishan Dairy offered an aggregate of 3,787,596,000 ordinary shares, which raised approximately HK$10.1 Billion (US$1.3 billion) in gross proceeds for Huishan Dairy and the selling shareholders. Huishan Dairy is a leading and the most vertically integrated dairy company in China, and it currently owns the largest upstream resources and the second largest herd of dairy cows in China.
