WFW advises HSH Nordbank on €23 million Danish solar park project financing

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised HSH Nordbank AG (“HSH Nordbank”) on the financing of the Danish “Vandel 2” solar park.

HSH Nordbank provided a long-term financing of €23m to Danish developer CM Finans for “Vandel 2”, which is located in the community of Vandel/Billund in Denmark. The solar park has a total capacity of 37.9 MWp and has been built by CM Finans.

DLA Piper advises SEB AG on the provision of a loan amounting to EUR 54.8 million

DLA Piper has advised SEB AG, Structured Real Estate Finance, on the provision of a loan amounting to EUR 54.8 million to a US asset manager for the partial financing of a substantial retail property portfolio.

The property portfolio is spread over 24 different locations throughout Germany and primarily includes properties let to prominent chain operators.

Clifford Chance advises VINCI and Meridiam on the financing of the A7 motorway PPP project

Clifford Chance has advised VINCI Concessions Deutschland, a subsidiary of the globally active concessions and construction group VINCI, and Meridiam Investments on the financing of the extension of the A7 motorway by way of a public private partnership.

The total financing amount is EUR 441 million and comprises two long-term and two short-term tranches. The financing banks are European Investment Bank, CaixaBank, Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), DZ Bank and KfW IPEX-Bank. The financing amount includes a subsidy by the Federal Republic of Germany of EUR 126 million.

Gowling WLG Paris advises the Altitude Infrastructure group in connection with the restructuring and financing of six very-high-speed networks for €110 million.

KWM continues renewables focus with Bungala Solar project

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised on the financing of the first phase of the Bungala Solar Photovoltaic (PV) project, representing the latest in a series of significant matters the firm has completed in Australia’s growing renewables market.

On completion, the 300MWac solar project will produce enough clean electricity for around 130,000 homes, making it the largest solar project in Australia.
