Hogan Lovells Advises Robertshaw in Acquisition of CastFutura

International law firm Hogan Lovells is advising Robertshaw, a global engineering and manufacturing company focused on controls and solutions for residential white goods and commercial appliances, in an agreement with Star Capital SGR and other shareholders to acquire CastFutura S.p.A., a leading provider of combustion, safety and ignition products for cooking and heating applications.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  Closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions precedent including antitrust clearance.

Linklaters advised Globalworth on the acquisition of the Skylight and Lumen office buildings

Linklaters advised Globalworth Poland, the largest institutional office investor and landlord in the country, on the conclusion of a preliminary purchase agreement with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield for the Skylight and Lumen offices in Warsaw, part of the multifunctional Zlote Tarasy complex. The transaction was valued at EUR 190 mln and is Globalworth's largest acquisition to date.

The team, led by Real Estate Partner Gill McGreevy and Counsel Stella Bliss at Hogan Lovells, secured and completed the letting of all the live units at the Heatherwick Studio re-designed shopping and lifestyle district, which officially opened for business on 26th October 2018.

Allen & Overy advises BMW on its EUR 3 billion transaction to acquire control of its JV with Brilliance China Automotive

Allen & Overy has advised the BMW Group on its contract extension for the joint venture BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd (BBA) and its intention to increase its stake in BBA from 50 percent to 75 percent. BBA is a joint venture between BMW and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd (CBA). The transaction is subject to the approval of the relevant authorities and the consent of the CBA Shareholders’ Meeting.

The joint venture also announced an investment of more than three billion euros in new and existing plant structures in Shenyang over the coming years.

K&L Gates Advises Belectric on Australia's Largest Solar Project

Melbourne – Global law firm K&L Gates has advised Belectric Australia Pty Ltd (Belectric), a subsidiary of German energy company innogy SE, in its appointment of Downer Group (Downer) to construct Limondale Solar Farm in southern New South Wales.
 
When fully operational, the 349MW solar farm is set to be Australia's largest, generating enough renewable energy to power up to 105,000 homes annually. Construction is due to begin in October and is anticipated to be completed in 2020.
