Linklaters advise Skanska on Business Link start-up platform

Linklaters has advised Skanska on the co-creation of an innovative business ecosystem Business Link in partnership with Akademickie Inkubatory Przedsiebiorczosci, the largest network of co-working space and private offices in Poland. The firm's Warsaw office worked with Skanska on their investment in the joint venture, which will enable the developer to create the most comprehensive commercial office proposition available to a wide range of businesses in the CEE market.

Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has advised the three leading European broadcasters ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, Mediaset S.p.A. (Italy and Spain) and Television and Francaise 1 S.A., on establishing the European Broadcaster Exchange (EBX), a European media cooperation. The new joint venture, EBX, is set up by a third-party joint venture and has its head office in London.

The change of legal form was registered with the commercial register on 1st of June, 2017 with the trade name Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers Aktiengesellschaft.

Slaughter and May advised Linde AG on the UK tax law aspects and certain UK corporate law aspects of its combination with Praxair, Inc. The new Irish-incorporated group holding company is to be known as Linde plc and is to be tax resident in the UK and listed on the NYSE and Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The firm worked as part of an integrated team with Hengeler Mueller, Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and William Fry.

Simpson Thacher Represented KKR in Connection with Consortium Arrangements Relating to Investment in GfK SE

Simpson Thacher represented KKR in connection with the consortium arrangements established as part of KKR's public bid for a minority stake in GfK SE. The consortium partners included hedge fund entities that had owned shares in GfK SE and that rolled over those shares into KKR’s newco instead of selling them in the tender offer.

GfK SE is a leading global market research company currently listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

Stibbe has advised Heijmans in connection with the procurement and construction of the N23 Westfrisiaweg, a major infrastructure contract.

The N23 Westfrisiaweg is an essential part of the alternative East-West link from Alkmaar to Zwolle: The 42-kilometre-long stretch runs from Heerhugowaard to Enkhuizen and connects to Hoorn on the A7 at two points.
