We are delighted to assist Trusource Labs LLC, an Austin, Texas headquartered company, on all legal aspects of the establishment of its Irish operations in Limerick which was announced today.
 
Trusource Labs provides cutting edge companies, such as Apple, Nest and Canary, with specialist customer and product support. Trusource Labs, in announcing their plan to open their international operations in Limerick, will see the creation of 134 new jobs over a three year period.
 

Osborne Clarke advises XC Trains on its £1.5bn Cross Country franchise

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised XC Trains Limited on the £1.5bn extended franchise agreement with the Department for Transport.

XC Trains Limited, a subsidiary of Arriva plc, will manage the new three year franchise agreement under the CrossCountry brand. Stretching from Aberdeen to Penzance the franchise will be the longest passenger route in the UK, covering 2,000km+ network and serving more than 100 stations.

Norton Rose Fulbright advises Senvion on offshore agreement for Trianel Windpark Borkum II

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Senvion, a leading global manufacturer of onshore and offshore wind turbines, on the supply agreement to provide the offshore wind turbines and the service and maintenance agreement for Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum II GmbH & Co KG (TWB II). The offshore wind farm will consist of 32 turbines and will have an installed capacity of approximately 203 megawatts (MW) on completion, expected in late 2019.

The corporate team from Burges Salmon has advised the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) on the establishment of the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) as a Government company.

As announced by the Secretary of State the Rt. Hon. Greg Clark last month, on 1 October, the OGA transitioned from an executive agency of BEIS to a Government company.

Bank Norwegian : Advice on Providing Cross-Border Services

We advised Bank Norwegian AS, an internet bank offering consumer banking services across the Nordic countries, in establishing its cross-border service offering in Finland. Our expertise on local regulatory aspects was required in relation to offering savings accounts, loans and credit cards as well as with respect to various consumer protection and other regulatory matters. Bank Norwegian is 20% owned by Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, which operates one of the largest low-cost airline carriers in Europe.

Fieldfisher advises DfT on £1.6bn Cross Country franchise agreement

Fieldfisher supports on new Cross Country franchise agreement and package of passenger improvements.

European law firm Fieldfisher has advised the Department for Transport (DfT) on its new franchise agreement with Arriva Cross Country, which includes a package of passenger improvements.

The agreement will see Arriva Cross Country run services from Aberdeen to Penzance, Bournemouth to Manchester and from Stansted to Cardiff until October 2019.

Arriva Cross Country will pay the government a premium of £163m over the course of the three years.
