DLA Piper advises Harrison Street on Crosslane joint venture

DLA Piper has advised leading real estate investment firm Harrison Real Estate Capital LLC, on its joint venture with Crosslane Property Group UK, a real estate company specialising in purpose built student accommodation (PBSA) across the UK and Continental Europe.

The JV will jointly develop four student accommodation properties totalling 1,267 beds in Leeds, Coventry, Portsmouth and Swansea.

Pinsent Masons advises Cargill on joint venture with Faccenda

International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised Cargill on its joint venture with Faccenda to create Avara Foods.

Avara Foods will combine Cargill’s fresh chicken business in the UK and Faccenda’s fresh chicken, turkey and duck business.

The new joint venture follows Competition and Market Authority (CMA) approval in December and will be a 50/50 shared ownership between Cargill and Faccenda. It will employ 6,000 people in a fully integrated supply chain.

International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised Cargill on its joint venture with Faccenda to create Avara Foods.

Under the agreement, Healthwise content will be offered for the first time in China. People in China will now have easy access to evidence-based, consumer-friendly information on thousands of health topics—from preparing for medical procedures, to manage chronic diseases and living a healthy lifestyle. Tencent will translate and localize the Healthwise content for their Chinese users.

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Barratt Developments on 50:50 joint venture (JV) with Swindon Borough Council to develop approximately 250 hectares at Wichelstowe, South of Swindon. The scheme will deliver around 2,670 new homes over the next 20 years and includes two primary schools, a secondary school and an extensive area of open space.
