Irwin Mitchell Advises Bruntwood And Kier Property On 3 Sovereign Square Pre-Let

The Real Estate team at leading law firm Irwin Mitchell has advised Bruntwood and Kier Property on a deal which sees Addleshaw Goddard (AG) sign a 17½ year lease to take more than 50,000 sq ft at 3 Sovereign Square in Leeds.
 
The property, which is being developed by joint venture partners Bruntwood and Kier Property, will be completed by the middle of next year with AG expected to relocate by the end of 2016.
 

DLA Piper represents Autodesk in lease negotiation in Boston's Seaport District

DLA Piper represented Autodesk, a 3D design software firm, in the negotiation of a 70,000-square-foot lease, with the option to occupy an additional 50,000 square feet, in the Innovation and Design Building in Boston’s Seaport District.

The new office will span three floors and also be the site of the new “Building Innovation Learning & Design” space, which brings together students, entrepreneurs and researchers to explore new tools.

Dacheng Advises AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd. on First Aircraft Financing for Offshore Export Credit Institution

On March 27, a project company set up by AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd. within Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone of Tianjin, Export Development Canada, Canada Bombardier Commercial Aircraft and China Express Airlines completed the offshore finance lease for two Bombardier CRJ900 aircrafts. Shanghai-based senior partners Wu Jingjing and Li Yingchun provided PRC legal counsel for AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd. and its project company.

Slaughter and May is advising Derwent London on the letting of the ninth and tenth floors at 1 Stephen Street, London W1 to AnaCap Financial Partners LLP (AnaCap), a private equity firm. AnaCap will take a 10-year lease of approximately 16,150 sq. ft. at an initial rent in excess of £80 per sq. ft., equivalent to approximately £1.3 million per annum.

Slaughter and May is advising Derwent London on the letting of first, second and third floors, 2 Stephen Street, London W1 to The Office Group, a flexible office space provider. The Office Group will take a 20-year lease of approximately 34,000 square feet at a basic annual rent of approximately £2.2 million together with profit-sharing arrangements.

The refurbished building forms part of Derwent London's significant interests in the redevelopment of sites in the vicinity of the new Crossrail station at Tottenham Court Road.
