International law firm advised Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Malaysia’s leading fund management company, on the 20 year letting of Aviation House to WeWork.

The flexible co-working provider will occupy 130,000 sq ft across eight floors of the building near Holborn Underground station, which it will revamp. Once open, it will become the Midtown hub for the rapidly expanding company which has opened 24 locations in London in the last four years.

WeWork signed a lease with Gecina for the whole building located at 7 Rue de Madrid in Paris (75008). This building comprises almost 11,800 square meters of rental space. The second lease agreement, with Bleecker, relates to a whole building located at 123 Boulevard de Grenelle in Paris (75015), comprising circa 13,000 square meters of rental space.

DLA Piper has advised Gazeley on the leasing of a new logistics building to Schneider Logistik, located in the Schwäbische Alb business park in Geislingen/Steige, Germany.

The company will lease a total of 12,500 square meters of hall and mezzanine space, and will relocate its headquarters to the building following a planned move the end of the year.

Frankfurt/Main – Frankfurt-based Bethmann Bank is set to become the anchor tenant in Frankfurt’s Marienforum, occupying some 8,000 square metres of office space. The bank, which is part of the Dutch ABN AMRO group, will relocate to the new premises in the first quarter of 2019. The private bank is thus leaving its existing Bethmannhof headquarters after more than 250 years. The landlord is developer Pecan Development, acting on behalf of Perella Weinberg Real Estate Fund II LP. The lease has a ten-year term.

Dentons advised Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), a US real estate services company providing high-end science and technology shared infrastructure to innovative entrepreneurs, on a lease agreement for a 14,000 sq m space in Varso 2, part of HB Reavis’ new flagship development in Warsaw.

Cambridge Innovation Center’s office in Warsaw will be a new hub for the city’s tech community focusing on energy, biotech, digital and new materials. It will be CIC’s second European premises after Rotterdam.
