CMS has advised Belvac Production Machinery, Inc. ("Belvac")on its acquisition of Rosario Can Technology.

Rosario Can Technology is an innovative designer, developer and manufacturer of decorators, base coating machinery and associated replacement parts for the production of beverage, food and aerosol cans. Rosario Can Technology is based in and operates out of Dongen, the Netherlands.

Gide Warsaw advised MEDI-system on the acquisition of elderly care facilities

The Gide team advised MEDI-system (a company from the Orpea Group) on the acquisition of the "Angel Care" Elderly Care Facility in Wroclaw, from Angel Poland Group, finalised on 2 January 2018, and on the acquisition of the Ostoya Care Facility in Stare Babice near Warsaw from Allenort Capital Fund, finalised in December 2017.

TLT acts on Novoferm expansion in the UK

Novoferm – the European subsidiary of Tokyo-listed Sanwa Shutter Corporation and one of Europe's largest suppliers of entrance solutions – has acquired 100% of Bolton Gate Services – a leading provider of 24/7 door and shutter maintenance and repair services across the UK.

DLA Piper advises Bewi on acquisition in Finland

DLA Piper has advised BEWi, one of the leading players in the Nordics for the development and production of insulation products and customized packaging solutions made from cellular plastic, EPS, on its acquisition of Ruukin EPS, a Finnish manufacturer of insulation material.

This transaction provides BEWi a stronger geographical presence in Finland and enables it to offer insulation material and packaging solutions in expanded polystyrene (EPS) as it does in the rest of the Nordics.

Eversheds Sutherland advises Bridges-backed Viva Gym on its acquisition of Fitness Hut to create Iberian low-cost market leader

Eversheds Sutherland has advised Viva Gym (Viva), a leading Spanish low-cost gym business, on its acquisition of Fitness Hut, the leading Portuguese low-cost gym business.

The deal was led by specialist sustainable and impact investor Bridges Fund Management (Bridges). It will create the biggest low-cost fitness group in the Iberian region, with 200,000 members across 48 sites, combined revenues of over €50m, and ambitious growth plans for the next few years.

White & Case Advises Duke Street on Acquisition of A-ROSA

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Duke Street, a private equity firm focused on leveraged buyout and growth capital investments in European middle market companies, on the acquisition of A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH (A-ROSA).

The seller is Waterland, an independent private equity investment company, and the parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction, Duke Street's second investment in Germany, is subject to approval by the relevant antitrust authorities.

Davis Polk Advises SS&C Technologies on Its Acquisition of DST Systems

Davis Polk is advising SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. on its approximately $5.4 billion acquisition of DST Systems, Inc. The transaction, which is expected to close by the third quarter of 2018, is subject to DST’s stockholder approval, clearances by the relevant regulatory authorities and other customary closing conditions.

Dentons advises Cross Equity Partners on the acquisition of WDM Wolfshagener Draht- und Metallverarbeitung

Global law firm Dentons advised funds managed by Cross Equity Partners on the acquisition of all shares of WDM Wolfshagener Draht- und Metallverarbeitung sold by DG Drahtgitter Holding. Through this transaction a holding company will be formed, in which WDM’s management will co-invest. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

T-Mobile Netherlands and Tele2 Netherlands join forces
