Frankfurt/Main – Aqua Vital Quell- und Mineralwasser GmbH, one of the leading Providers of water dispensers for commercial customers in Germany, has acquired Kalimba NV from Lanaken (Belgium). Details of the purchase price were not disclosed. To date mainly active in Germany and Austria, Aqua Vital is continuing its strategy of internationalisation with the purchase of the Belgian competitor. Since July 2013 Aqua Vital has belonged to the Portfolio of the Frankfurt Halder Beteiligungsberatung GmbH.

Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners acquired from Argos Soditic and from the Mucci family a majority stake in D.I.MAR S.r.l., a company based in Corridonia (MC) that manages the frozen seafood specialised retail chain trading under the brand name of ‘Sapore di Mare’, operating in excess of 100 stores in Italy and generating over  80 million Euro in revenues in 2016.

The buyer will be involved in the transaction alongside the CEO Paolo Gattafoni and the Mucci family, who will be retaining a stake in the company.

Dierre S.p.A.,  a company based in Modena in which private equity fund Gradiente I holds a stake and  operating in the field of structural profiles, guards, accident prevention systems, linear rails and conveyor belts, acquired 80% of Sintesi S.r.l., a company based in Saonara (PD) operating in the industrial soundproofing field, specialising in the construction of protection systems and operator stations for machinery and industrial equipment.

Colosseum Dental Group acquired the controlling stake in FB 32 S.r.l., the holding that manages the dental clinics group operating under the brand of “Odontosalute”, founded in 2008 by Dr. Fabio Boscolo.

Colosseum Dental Group, a group controlled by Jacobs Holding AG that is already operating more than 150 dental care clinics in Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Denmark, with the acquisition of Odontosalute will become one of the leading dental care operators in Italy.

Davis-Standard, LLC announced today that it has reached agreement to acquire Maillefer International Oy of Vantaa, Finland and Ecublens, Switzerland. Maillefer is a global leader in wire, cable, pipe and tube production technologies. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Fels is one of Europe´s leading suppliers of high quality lime and lime stone products headquartered in Goslar, Germany, and counts approx. 1,000 employees in 11 locations in Germany, the Czech Republic and Russia. In fiscal year 2016, Fels generated revenues of EUR 260 m. The sale is subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.

We have acted as the Finnish legal counsel to ASX-listed Hansen Tecnologies Limited in its acquisition of Enoro Holding A/S, a Nordic software provider for the energy sector, for an enterprise value of NOK 620 million. Enoro has been majority owned by private equity investor Herkules Capital since 2010.

The fund Capvis Equity IV LP, advised by Swiss based Capvis Equity Partners AG, acquires the majority of Thermamax. The previous majority owner was the Darmstädter family. Brockhaus Private Equity III Fund, who has been a minority shareholder of the Company since 2015, will remain invested in Thermamax. The Thermamax group is headquartered in Mannheim and produces innovative high-temperature insulation systems ranging from insulation fabrics and integral insulation solutions to complex insulation claddings.
