Ashurst advises Enel Green Power on landmark acquisition of a majority share in BLP Energy

Ashurst advised Enel Green Power on the acquisition of a majority stake in Indian wind and solar power producer BLP Energy, which is one of the largest renewable energy companies in India with wind plants having a total capacity of 172 MW and a portfolio of approximately 600 MW of wind projects in different stages of development.

With this transaction Enel Green Power enters the Indian renewables market, marking the Enel Group's first move into the Asia-Pacific region thus reaching more than 10 GW of net installed capacity globally.

ADVA: Acquisition of Time4 Systems Oy

Castren & Snellman assisted the German ADVA Optical Networking SE, which is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, in its acquisition of the entire share capital of Time4 Systems Oy. Time4 Systems Oy provides innovative network synchronisation solutions, especially in relation to TDD (Time Division Duplex) technologies.

ADVA, a provider of innovative connectivity solutions to clients in the telecommunications industry, posted revenues of EUR 339 million in 2014 and employed nearly 1,500 people globally.

WLG has advised Telereal Trillium on its acquisition of the Lands Improvement Group from BlackRock Europe Property Fund III (BlackRock).

The Lands Improvement Group is one of the oldest investment companies in the UK, with origins dating back to 1853. The Group specialises in acquiring greenfield and brownfield sites with a view to residential-led development, and has an estimated pipeline of 13,000 new homes across 2,500 acres of landholdings.

DLA Piper advises McKesson on the acquisition of the pharmaceutical distribution division of UDG Healthcare

DLA Piper has advised the US McKesson Corporation, and its German subsidiary Celesio AG, on the acquisition of the pharmaceutical distribution division of UDG Healthcare. The purchase price is 408 million euros.

Under the terms of the agreement with UDG, McKesson will acquire the following parts of the company: United Drug and United Drug Sangers, leading wholesale operations across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland; TCP, a leading home healthcare provider in the Republic of Ireland; and MASTA, UDG’s travel healthcare business based in the United Kingdom.
