Norton Rose Fulbright advises Pacific Rubiales on $1.6 billion acquisition of Petrominerales

Norton Rose Fulbright acted as Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp.'s exclusive transaction counsel in its announced strategic acquisition of Petrominerales Ltd. The total purchase price of the all-cash deal will be approximately C$1.6 billion. The Arrangement is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Spike Exploration Holding - recommended voluntary cash tender offer for Bridge Energy

Slaughter and May, working as a team with BA-HR, is advising Spike Exploration Holding AS ('Spike Exploration') and HitecVision on a recommended voluntary cash tender offer to acquire the entire issued share capital of Bridge Energy ASA ('Bridge') for approximately NOK 967 million (£103 million).

The offer, which was announced on 16 September 2013, is to be financed by way of available cash resources of Spike Exploration.

Leading international law firm SJ Berwin has advised Backbone, a management company, and its investment fund Agregator Capital, on seeking the necessary approval from the AMF prior to its acquisition of private equity firm OTC Asset Management.

The combination will allow Agregator Capital, founded in 2008, to develop its entrepreneurial investment business model. The new entity aims to raise € 500 million by the end of 2014 and have € 50 million invested in SMEs over the year.

Triton acquires Bosch Rexroth pneumatics business with Linklaters

Linklaters advised the private equity investor Triton with regard to the acquisition of the pneumatics business of Bosch Rexroth AG. The funds advised by Triton signed an agreement to this effect. The transaction, which is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities, comprises all assets of the previously outsourced subsidiary of Bosch Rexroth. It has been agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed.
