Tom Clark has joined Stewarts’ Insolvency and Asset Recovery team as a Partner.

Tom has significant experience as a litigator with asset recovery, fraud and insolvency expertise. He acts for both corporates and individuals in large scale and complex multi-jurisdictional litigation. Tom started in banking with J.P Morgan before moving to law in 2003. In 2011 he joined start up law firm iLaw.

Tom joins Alex Jay, Tim Symes and Elaina Bailes in the Insolvency and Asset Recovery department, which was founded in March 2021.

Leading global law firm Clyde & Co has announced the appointment of partner Tom Bicknell to its Dubai office. Tom re-joins the firm after seven years, becoming part of Clyde & Co’s global Financial Services Regulatory practice. His appointment further strengthens the firm’s expanding capabilities in this critical area across the Middle East.

Morgan Lewis continues to build its deep bench of former government officials by welcoming Carolyn Welshhans, a 17-year veteran of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) who most recently served as associate director of the Division of Enforcement. Global law firm Greenberg Traurig further expands its International Arbitration & Litigation Practice with the addition of Nassif BouMalhab as a shareholder in the firm’s United Arab Emirates location (UAE). He joins Greenberg Traurig from Clyde & Co, where he was a partner and led its Middle East arbitration group.

BouMalhab’s joining Greenberg Traurig comes as the firm expands its London International Arbitration Practice with the appointment of three new shareholders, Jason Hambury, Gurmukh Riyat, and Clea Bigelow-Nuttall, from Pinsent Masons.
