PARTNER MOVES - Kennedys adds new partner in Paris as it gears up for European regulatory growth

We have appointed a senior insurance sector lawyer to our Paris office as we seek to grow our regulatory and compliance offering across Europe.

Safine Hadri joins as partner from DS Avocats, where she was head of insurance since 2015.

Safine will be based in Paris but will work closely with colleagues across Europe, focusing her work across insurance contract law, regulatory and compliance work and claims. She has a specific interest in compliance issues and working with clients in the integration of new regulatory developments into their marketing processes.

PARTNER MOVES - Pinsent Masons hires technology disputes partner Emily Cox in London

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has hired partner Emily Cox to join the firm’s Technology, Media, Telecoms (TMT) Disputes team in London.

Emily joins from Stewarts where she has been a partner for the past three years, having previously worked at Linklaters and the consumer association Which?.

Head of Pinsent Masons’ TMT Disputes team, David Barker, said: “Emily has a wealth of experience in complex litigation and contentious matters, and will add further strength in depth to our team’s offering to clients.

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed Jeroen Schouten as Technology, Media, Telecoms (TMT) partner in Amsterdam.

Jeroen has over 25 years’ experience as a telecommunications and information technology lawyer across private practice, in-house and consultant roles. He has been appointed partner after being a consultant at Pinsent Masons, supporting its Amsterdam office. Jeroen works with many high-profile clients, including PVH Europe B.V. (Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger) and Lebara.

Clyde & Co has announced the appointment of property and liability specialist Paul Annesley as a partner in its Manchester office.

Paul joins the firm from Keoghs where he has worked as a partner since 2020, specialising in defended liability, policy coverage and subrogated recoveries on behalf of a number of the UK’s largest insurers. Previously he was a Legal Director at Clyde & Co between 2015 to 2020.
